The Madagascan covid-19 herbal treatment have gained World Health Organization advise for clinical trial and stated their readiness to collaborate.
You recall that on 20th April, 2020 the President of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina announced the discovery of a treatment for covid-19. The president advertised the mixture made from Artemisia (a plant with proven antimalarial properties) and other herb as a cure and preventive medicine for Covid-19. As at today 10th May, 2020 Madagascar have tested 3,968, 193 confirmed cases 101 recovered and no death at all. Could this achievements be because of the Covid- Organic CVO?
The World Health Organization Regional Director, Dr Matshidiso Moeti in her tweets advised the Madagascan government to take the product for clinical trial and stated the organization’s readiness to collaborate with them. She also warned and cautioned the adoption of the product without clinical trial to determine its safety and efficacy.
Her tweet-@MoetiTshidi: “We are advising the government of Madagascar to take this product through a clinical trial & we are prepared to collaborate with them. We would caution and advise countries against adopting a product that has not been through clinical tests for safety & efficacy.“
WHO gave this warning because of the wide use of CVO in the Madagascar. But the country have not recorded any new case for sometime now. Could this herb which is also a preventive medicine be the reason for the low spread of the infection? Amidst the warnings, some Africa Presidents have praised the courage of President Rajoelina for announcing this regimen while others have received some shipment of same in their countries.
We will be giving you updates on this and others as they spring up.
